Jamie is our resident artist. In the 1990s he was pursuing a career in magazine design in Chicago when he discovered the artistic aspects of creating signs. He changed course and soon began painting and fabricating 3-D casino props in Griffith, Ind., launching his career in signage. Jamie received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia.

William started in the sign business 13 years ago. He had been working as a carpenter in Everett, Wash., when he decided to move to Austin and learn from his uncle how to bend neon glass to make signs. A decade later, the signs in William’s own life were pointing toward self-employment, and he and a good friend and coworker, Jamie Mitol, secured financing from William’s mother to start Custom Sign Creations. It has since earned a remarkable reputation. As William says, “We want our customers to be happy with the results of our work and so impressed that they recommend us wholeheartedly to all. After all, we are only as good as our last job.”
Don Lehman - Master Sign Electrician and Install Coordinator

A licensed Master Sign Electrician with 17 years in the sign business, Don knows that getting signs right the first time is in both party’s best interest, so he long ago put in place high production standards. He earned his Master Sign Electrician certification from the state in 1998 and later spent a year studying electrical trade work to broaden his understanding of electricity. Yes, Don and William are twins!

In his more than 10 years in the sign business, Andy has coordinated hundreds of sign installations for national companies and become known for his success in executing sizable projects under tight deadlines. As an active member of the Texas Sign Association, he has stayed current with industry trends, news and technology and helped lobby for fair sign ordinances. Andy began working in the sign business after earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance from the University of Delaware.
